Re-defining Our Values – The Hafod Way
“Hafod launched a re-branding project including a review of corporate values aligned to our mission of Making Lives Better. We wanted every employee to have the opportunity to get involved via a wide range of communication channels. We had never undertaken an initiative that was so all encompassing and engaging, regardless of individual role or status and providing an equal and unique opportunity for everyone to be involved in scoping our new values.
After running numerous focus groups, we devised a unique game – “The Hafod Way” – a complete resource in a box! Managers play the game with their teams where a spinner lands on a Value, a corresponding Values card positions a question or situation and asks participants what they would do. Our employees have provided fantastic feedback, finding this resource entertaining, engaging and meaningful. It is a truly unique tool which is capable of being further developed and refreshed as required.”
